Sources & attributions

PolePredict is an independent project built on public data and openly-licensed or officially-embedded content. Here's exactly where everything comes from and how it's credited.

Timing, results & standings

Race results, qualifying, sprints, standings, and the calendar come from the community-run Jolpica-F1 API (the successor to Ergast). Session-level detail comes from OpenF1. This is factual sporting record. Weather forecasts come from Open-Meteo.

News headlines

Where enabled, news is aggregated from publishers’ own RSS feeds. We show only the headline, source name, timestamp, and the feed-provided snippet — never the full article — and every item links back to the original on the publisher’s site. Publishers can ask to be removed at any time.

Social posts, video & discussion

Social posts and videos are shown using each platform’s official embed, which keeps the content on-platform and credits its author. Videos embed via YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. External discussion threads are clearly labelled, attributed, and linked — they are other people’s public posts, never presented as activity by our users. We never scrape or rehost anyone’s content.

Driver imagery & biographies

Driver biographies are written originally by us from public record. Driver images are either original commissioned illustrations, or photographs from Wikimedia Commons used under their permissive licenses (CC BY, CC BY-SA, or public domain) — each shown with its author and license.

PolePredict is an independent, fan-made project — not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, or FOM, and not betting advice. To request removal of any third-party content, contact details will be published here before launch.
